Log-on to Oracle Insurance Rules Workbench and Environment selection

Oracle Insurance Rules Workbench is accessed directly through a web browser, providing a streamlined path to begin configuration tasks. After successful authentication, only environments assigned to the current user are visible and selectable on the Environments page. Selection of an environment determines access to associated configuration items and user permissions.

Accessing Oracle Insurance Rules Workbench

Steps to access the application

  1. Open a web browser (for example; Chrome, Firefox).

  2. Enter the Oracle Insurance Rules Workbench application URL in the browser’s address bar.

  3. On the login screen

    1. To log in, enter valid login credentials in the Username and Password fields.

    2. Click the Login button.

  4. Upon successful login, the Landing Page – Environments selection screen appears.

    1. All environments assigned to the user account are displayed as selectable tiles in the Environments panel.

    Note: Only users with the configurer role can access the Environments selection screen and the Environment dropdown menu upon login. Users with admin or build manager roles will not see these options unless an additional role, such as configurer, is assigned to their account.

Environment selection

Selecting an environment from the list of environments assigned to the account determines which configuration items and areas are accessible for configuration tasks. The available environments and corresponding menus and items are displayed based on assigned user permissions.

Select an Environment

  1. On the landing page, review the list of assigned environments displayed as individual tiles in the Environments panel.

  2. Choose the desired environment to proceed.

  3. The Rules Workbench dashboard for the selected environment loads, displaying its associated configuration options.

Switch between Environments

  1. In the top right corner of the screen, locate the Environment dropdown.

  2. Click the Environment dropdown to display the list of environments assigned to the user.

  3. Select the preferred environment from the dropdown list.

  4. The Rules Workbench dashboard for the selected environment loads automatically for continued configuration or management tasks.

    Note: Switching environments is performed within the same active session, allowing navigation between different Rules Workbench dashboards without logging out.
